One of the best ways for college students to be ministered to in the church is by connecting to older believers, who have experience, wisdom, and resources that your peers do not. "Adopted Families" will check in with their students and invite them over for meals in order to share life with one another.
Ultimately, being adopted is about discipleship: knowing and obeying Jesus Christ more fully in the context of a local church body.
This is a year long commitment, but can last up until the student graduates, or even beyond.
Once you sign up, you will be emailed in a few weeks with your adopting family or student. Please be open to their communication and reciprocative as well.
